Youth Mathematics Apprenticeship

Weekly live mathematical enrichment for children who love mathematics — cultivating direct perception, deep comprehension, and mathematical confidence.

Foundational · Intermediate · Advanced
Live Weekly Sessions Small Group Apprenticeship Replay Recordings Included Online · Pacific Time Begins the Week of May 4th

This program is for children who already love mathematics and want to go deeper — beyond rote memorization and mechanical technique, into direct comprehension, visual intuition, and sincere mathematical inquiry.

For Parents

Mathematics Through Direct Perception

This program is built for children who already have a spark for mathematics. The aim is to help them see mathematical truth directly, understand concepts from the inside, and develop a clear, confident relationship to the subject.

Direct Comprehension

Students are guided toward self-evident comprehension, so formulas and procedures arise from understanding rather than memorization.

Mathematical Imagination

Concepts are approached visually, creatively, and conceptually so students can perceive structure, relationship, and mathematical truth.

Small Group Setting

Students learn in a focused small-group setting where questions, participation, and genuine inquiry are welcomed.

Weekly Schedule

Monday
Foundational Apprenticeship
4:45–5:45 PM Pacific
For younger students developing number sense, pattern recognition, and pre-algebraic intuition.
Monday
Intermediate Apprenticeship
6:30–7:30 PM Pacific
For students entering algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and symbolic mathematical thinking.
Thursday
Advanced Apprenticeship
6:30–7:30 PM Pacific
For students ready for precalculus, calculus, advanced problem solving, and deeper mathematical inquiry.
Three Levels of Study

A Clear Path for Each Student

Students enter according to readiness. The age ranges are recommendations, while placement is based on the child’s current relationship to mathematics, maturity, curiosity, and level of understanding.

Recommended Ages 8–11

Foundational

Everything before algebra: number sense, arithmetic, multiplication, fractions, patterns, symmetry, geometry intuition, and pre-algebraic thinking.

Algebra and After

Intermediate

Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, coordinate systems, equations, transformations, functions, and mathematical visualization.

Precalculus and Beyond

Advanced

Precalculus, calculus, infinity, rates of change, elegant problem solving, abstraction, and advanced mathematical inquiry.

Class Experience

Clear Structure · Direct Inquiry

Each week has a mathematical theme, while the class remains responsive to the students. The structure gives parents clarity, and the inquiry allows the teaching to meet the actual intelligence of the group.

How a Class Unfolds

  • A focused weekly theme
  • Live mathematical exploration
  • Questions and participation
  • Visual, conceptual, and intuitive explanation
  • Replay recordings available after class

What Students Cultivate

  • Confidence with mathematical ideas
  • Clarity of attention
  • Creative problem solving
  • Deeper intuition
  • A sincere relationship to mathematics
Example Themes

Mathematics as Inquiry

Themes may shift according to the group, while the center remains the same: students are invited to see mathematics directly, understand deeply, and participate sincerely.

The Geometry of Multiplication

Seeing multiplication as structure, area, scaling, and pattern.

Fractions as Shapes

Understanding fractions visually through proportion, division, and relationship.

Seeing Algebra Visually

Approaching equations as balance, transformation, and symbolic structure.

Waves and Trigonometry

Exploring sine, cosine, circles, rhythm, oscillation, and motion.

Infinity and Paradox

Introducing higher mathematical wonder through limits, recursion, and abstraction.

Patterns in Nature

Recognizing symmetry, growth, spirals, geometry, and hidden order in the world.

Enrollment

Membership Structure

The program is designed for continuity. Families may begin with a one-time introductory session so the student can experience the environment before entering ongoing monthly enrollment.

Private Mentorship

Families seeking one-on-one mentorship with Adam Wes may inquire separately. Private mentorship is available at $400/hour when there is availability.
About the Teacher

Taught by Adam Wes

Adam Wes has taught mathematics for over twenty years and is the founder of The School of Futuristic Intelligence. His work centers on the direct perception of mathematical truth — helping students understand mathematics deeply, intuitively, and beautifully.

For Students Who Love Math

This program is for children and teenagers who love mathematics, patterns, problem solving, abstraction, coding, or the deeper structure of things.

For Thoughtful Parents

This program gives families a clear weekly structure while preserving the depth, responsiveness, and directness of real teaching.

Begin

Start with an Introductory Session

The introductory session allows your child to experience the atmosphere, meet the teacher, and discover whether this style of mathematical inquiry feels aligned.
